When you place an order, we collect the details needed to fulfil it: your name, delivery and billing address, email address, phone number and order contents. Payment is processed by our payment providers — full card numbers never reach our systems.

If you create an account, we hold your login details and saved preferences. If you subscribe to our newsletter, we hold your email address and subscription status.

When you contact us, we keep the correspondence so we can pick up where we left off. We also collect basic technical and usage data — such as pages viewed, device type and approximate location from your IP address — to keep the site working and to understand what is useful.

To process and deliver your orders, handle returns and refunds, and provide customer service.

To maintain your account, and to keep our site secure and prevent fraud.

To send marketing emails where you have opted in — you can unsubscribe from any email, or by contacting us, and we will stop.

To improve the store: understanding which products and pages are popular helps us buy better and design better. We do not make automated decisions that produce legal effects for you.

Our storefront may display a small notification showing recent genuine purchases — for example "Sarah from Leeds purchased …". These are drawn from real orders placed with us. We show only a customer's first name, the town or city from the delivery address, and the item purchased. We never display surnames, full addresses, contact details or order values, and we never show invented or simulated purchases. If you would prefer your order not to appear, email us and we will exclude it.

We rely on performance of a contract to process orders, consent for marketing emails and non-essential cookies, legal obligation for keeping tax and accounting records, and legitimate interests for site security, fraud prevention and improving our service.

We share data only with the service providers needed to run the shop: our e-commerce and hosting platform, payment processors, delivery carriers, email and analytics providers. Each is bound to handle your data securely and only on our instructions.

We may disclose information where the law requires it, or to protect our rights. We never sell your personal data.

Some providers may process data outside the UK or EEA; where that happens, appropriate safeguards such as standard contractual clauses are in place.

Essential cookies keep your basket and session working and cannot be switched off. Analytics and marketing cookies are optional and only set with your consent.

You can clear or block cookies through your browser settings at any time, though essential cookies are needed for checkout to function.

Order and transaction records are kept for as long as tax and accounting law requires. Account data is kept while your account is active. Marketing consent is kept until you unsubscribe. Support correspondence is kept for a reasonable period after the matter is closed, then deleted.

You have the right to access the personal data we hold about you, to have inaccurate data corrected, to request erasure, to restrict or object to processing, to withdraw consent at any time, and to receive your data in a portable format.

We use encrypted connections, access controls and reputable providers to protect your information. No online service can promise absolute security, but we take the responsibility seriously and review our practices regularly.
